Wedding Wednesday: Three Key Vendors To Make Your Day Perfect!

For this weeks #weddingwednesday I’m sharing all of the wonderful people who made Chase and I’s day so picture perfect! If you or someone you know is getting married in Houston then you’ll definitely want to give these vendors a shout!

First and foremost, I have to give so much credit to our venue, Ashton Gardens West! Would y’all believe me if I told you we booked our venue before it was even built? That’s right! When we booked Ashton Gardens West, it was just a concrete slab and a sales trailer! Brittney was so great at elaborating on how perfect this venue was going to be without it even being there. We put all our faith in her and went for it and I am SO glad we did. Our venue was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Did you see the wood work in the chapel? It’s so gorgeous! Aside from the aesthetics of the venue, it was the service and inclusions that also blew us away. They included a day-of-coordinator in our package which is a necessity ladies, trust me! Amanda was our DOC and I felt like we were best friends by the time our wedding came! Her attention to detail was superb and she made sure my vision came to life! When you book AGW they also include all of your table linens and even centerpieces. I can’t tell you how much stress this took off of my shoulders; one less thing to worry about! My favorite part about AGW though was definitely the food! It was so tasty and we even opted for their make your own mac & cheese bar and it was a hit! We enjoyed everything about AGW and were so thankful we took that leap of faith when we booked it!

Photography is a major element to your wedding. Without it, you have nothing to look back on for one of the most important days of your life! This is something I highly advise you don’t “cheap out” on as you really get what you pay for! With that being said, I highly recommend Kate Elizabeth Photography! Her work truly speaks for itself, but wait til you meet her! Kate is so fun to work with, knows how to make you feel comfortable and beautiful in front of the camera, and is so talented at catching all of those precious moments! I also have to mention that Kate came all the way to Colorado where we were living in 2015 to take our engagement pictures. That’s dedication and shows how much Kate truly cares about her clients! We had a wedding album and prints included in our package with Kate and I am obsessed with them! It’s so nice to be able to see and touch actual photos in today’s digital world. I am so thankful for these precious keepsakes!

Lastly, you have to get your beautiful, white gown you always dreamed of from somewhere, and I cannot say enough about Weddings By Debbie! The experience you have when dress shopping can really set the mood for your wedding planning. They are by appointment only so there are only a few brides in the salon at a time. I personally loved this because trying on a bunch of dresses, especially for the first time, can be pretty overwhelming! My bridal consultant, Alexis, was an expert at everything bridal! We first talked about what I liked and didn’t like and she even made some of her own suggestions just for me to try. She was so good that not once did I come out with a dress on that I didn’t like, which made deciding like ten times harder! She encouraged me to try on styles that I was drawn too that my entourage wasn’t particularly into which is honestly what helped me pick out my dress! She knew just which one I loved and brought out the veil at the right moment to help me decide on the one! I loved how much she paid attention to my wants, stayed in my budget, and never pressured me into something outside of what I was comfortable with. WBD is a one stop shop; they have bridal gowns, accessories, bridesmaids dresses and Mother of the Bride dresses! We loved everything about our experience that all of my bridesmaids and even my mom got their dresses from there. If you’re looking for top notch service and the most beautiful selection of dresses, look no further!

These were three of the most important vendors to my wedding experience. Each of them contributed in a different way that made my wedding planning so seamless and unforgettable. I cannot say enough great things about them! I know how important reviews are to Brides-to-Be, and I am always happy to share my wedding planning experience. It can be super stressful, but I can assure these vendors can help alleviate some of that stress so you can have the wedding of your dreams!
