We all have that go to product when it comes to our beauty routines. Whether it’s a foundation, primer, or contouring kit, there is something we all cant leave the house without putting on! For me, it’s my favorite moisturizer by Glamglow! If you have oily skin, this is a must! And it smells sooo good! It’s a mattifying moisturizer for your oily problem areas but it doesn’t give you that dry, stiff feel! I put it on every day. Following my moisturizer, I always use my Fenty Beauty primer, which is also a little mattifying. it’s perfect for any skin type since it prevents shine but also moisturizes. I have really oily skin, so I add this Benefit Cosmetics POREfessional Matte Rescue to my problem areas for extra mattifying. Next, I cannot live without my Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation that I put on with my Beautyblender. This foundation is MAGIC and they have a water-based version for those who prefer a lighter feel. I have tried all the major foundations, you name it, I tried it, and this one is the one I just keep going back to. It doesn’t feel heavy and give you full coverage. And if you haven’t tried the Beautyblender line, then you are missing out on an airbrushed look! Your fingers just won’t give you the same finish ladies! When it comes to concealer, it can be hard to find one that doesn’t cake up or settle into line or really just cover those dark circles! Tarte Shape Tape is a winner in my book. it’s full coverage, doesn’t get cakey and lasts all day. My go-to setting powder isn’t pictured, but this Stellar powder is the best! I tried the Laura Mercier and it was great, but this one is just better! Next comes my FAVORITE contour kit, the Kat Von D Shade + Light palette. I use the powder version, but they also have a cream version. The colors are so smooth and blendable, so you don’t have to worry about walking out of the house with harsh lines! It gives the most natural looking contour so we can all have the cheekbones of our dreams! I top it off with this Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in the color Exposed for a natural flush. Lastly, I set it all with this amazing Urban Decay All-Nighter setting spray. Y’all in college, before setting spray was a thing, we used to mist our face with hairspray, so embarrassing and so BAD for your skin!! This setting spray will hold all your hard work into place as if you sprayed it with hairspray (: At the end of the day, I take it all off with this Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. It is better than makeup wipes, and its easier on your eye area.
You’ll see that I didn’t list any mascara or eyebrow pencils here. That’s because I have invested in eyelash extensions and microblading+shading for my brows. Both of these are game changers for my beauty routine and I’ll be sharing them with you all next week! I didn’t list any of my highlighters, eyeshadow palettes or lipsticks either because I use so many depending on my mood, I could seriously do a whole post on just those too. If you would be interested in an eyeshadow + lips post, let me know in a comment below!
Thanks so much for reading and have a great weekend!
