We are about to get all kinds of up close and personal in my face Y’all, so be prepared! You guys voted on my Instagram stories and wanted to hear about my experience with Advanced Microblading Fusion® (microblading and shading) and eyelash extensions. In the simplest terms, it is a GAME CHANGER! My only regret is that I didn’t do it sooner! Seriously, it reduces my getting ready time and saves me money from not having to buy mascara and eyebrow pencils, specifically, it saves me $360 per year!
Madison owns and operates Madison’s Avenues, the only place I will ever go to get my brows and lashes done. She is educated in several lash techniques, including volume and classic, as well as traditional Microblading and Microblading Fusion. You can tell she cares about all of her clients and ensures your lashes and brows are well taken care of! This is so important when looking for a lash or brow esthetician. Anyone can learn how to do it, but you want to go to someone who is trained properly and cares about their craft. We are talking about your face here, ladies! You can’t just trust anyone. Do your research, examine their work, and definitely look for good reviews! But, I can assure you that you will get the best experience with Madison!
Let’s first talk about what Microblading, Advanced Microblading Fusion®, and eyelash extensions are. Microblading is a relatively new, manual method. It is considered to be semi-permanent, as compared to the traditional hair stroke technique. It is done using a very fine blade to deposit pigments into the epidermis. This method is ideal for anyone wanting to enhance the look of their eyebrows. The results are natural looking, hair-like strokes, regardless of the amount of hair present. Advanced Microblading Fusion®(Microblading + Shading) is a new technique developed to give a fuller look to clients who prefer a dramatic look. In some cases, Microblading alone is not sufficient to give a client full coverage, due to many circumstances including poor pigment retention, problematic skin, and no brow hair. Advanced Microblading Fusion® combines the techniques of Microblading and Manual or Digital Shading to give the client a more defined, dramatic look that still looks natural. It’s like wearing pow
der under hair strokes. The results can last anywhere from 1 to 2 years, depending on different factors affecting the procedure. However, a touch up once a year is recommended to retain the shape and saturation of pigment. Both methods are a two-step process. You go in for your initial session and then a follow-up session is required. Madison’s Microblading price includes the cost of your perfecting session and the Microblading Fusion price includes your perfecting session within 3 months.
Madison is also certified in NOVALASH American Volume Eyelash Extensions. What’s great about NOVALASH is that you don’t have to wait 24 hours to get them wet, can still use regular makeup remover and you CAN wear mascara on the extensions. The retention is fantastic so you only need refills every 3-4 weeks.
I can’t imagine ever not having my lash extensions or my brows now! I wake up with so much more confidence with my fuller brows and voluminous lashes. I highly recommend both procedures to anyone who is looking for that full brow and false lash look. The convenience factor is great, but the glam factor is even better!
